My name is Laura. I’m a New Yorker living in Houston, Texas, a stay at home mom, violinist, and singer. I also dedicate a lot of time volunteering and trying to be of service to others. I like cooking, art, and making things in general. I will come up with any excuse to throw a good party. My husband is pretty awesome. We’ve been dating since I was eighteen. We have three kids together: Micah, Mila, and Luna, and basically have been winging this whole parenthood thing.
I started this blog to have an outlet for some of my more intimate sharing, specifically surrounding my birth experiences. I am not a writer. I actually loathe writing for the most part. The idea of a blog has never appealed to me, as I have no desire to constantly update with lengthy posts. However, I do think this is a more appropriate and permanent place for the information I do want to share with the world on this subject.
